This year was no different! There were smores, and chocolate covered strawberries and the pool in the afternoon. Ah, bliss. There was painting and taping and eating and laughing! Honey Camp is just about the best week of the year and proved to be a great distraction for me especially with the wait for Gabe. :)
This year, my mom's friends {and now ours too!}, the Ganns, joined HC! We had a blast together. Their boys are getting to be like Kennedy and a little old for some parts of Honey Camp. But you wouldn't know it! See?
Mom got each kiddo their initial made of wood and they covered it in the duct tape of their choice! My girls love all things duct tape! lol
They made slushies/snowcones nearly every day....
They made night lights out of glass shower tiles and painted them.
They also painted and made bird baths {pictured below} that were adorable and they painted little wooden chests to keep their treasures in. One day they painted Christmas decorations too! It was a fantastic week!
Final group shots! What a fantastic week! I'm so grateful to my mom for all of her hard work and love for our children. And to my sister, Karen, who took these pictures. I had my camera but was just so preoccupied with Gabe and with Jase's visa...I barely picked it up at all. Just so ready to go get our boy! But blessed to have had this week to redirect and enjoy family!
