A web-log.
It's not a novel or a 12X12 coffee table book on Easter photography.
Ahem.
So my words will be few. We had a fantastic weekend. The weather was divine. We headed to my parents and soaked up some family time. We laughed. The kids colored eggs. The pictures aren't great because the light is bad and my external flash wasn't doing all I wanted it to.
Still, this is what we do. My mom and sister color eggs with my kids, each poses for pictures with said kiddies and well...I take a few pictures.
Then we hide the eggs. The kiddies hunt the eggs. And I am reminded during that 90 seconds every stinkin' year how terribly hard it is to get a decent picture of your babies...you guessed it. Hunting eggs.
There.
I said it.
So Easter pictures aren't what I always hope they will be. They just are what they are.
Church was great. I adore church on Easter Sunday. I pretty much adore church every Sunday. But Easter is just so humbling and promising and hopeful. Love, love, love this day.
I baked a ham and fixin's and we ate till we busted. I snapped a few of the kiddies for posterity out in front of our house.
That was about it. Perfect weekend. Not so perfect pictures. But a perfectly imperfect life with a completely perfect resurrected Savior.
Perfect.

Back at home on Sunday after church. My very own Easter bunnies.

Again I say, perfect.
