Yep, she wanted a little mini shoot. Well, to be perfectly honest, she wanted a full shoot. But I wasn't biting. In the mere 15 minutes we were out there, I snapped 76 shots. So, mini it was. :) I kinda dread this weekend when it rolls around. The one where your kids don't have many clothes that fit them. At least not ones that actually go along with the season you find yourself in. Yeah, shopping for spring/summer duds is never really on my top five things to do on a Friday.
However, we did it. We all survived. And Syd is really diggin' these new tunics coupled with leggings that the popular bullseye store is selling right now. So, she wanted new pictures. And since it's been a good long while since I've taken pics of my babies just for the heck of it...I obliged. I was content to go in the backyard. Mama is tired! But she was having nothing to do with that plan.
Alas, to our favorite field we went. And we managed to find a little patch of wild flowers, some yellow and some purple, for her to pop a squat in. And in true Syd form, she pulled some blooms off of a tree too and threw them happily in the air. Lovely.
Oh, sweet child of mine. Happy spring, Sydney Baby. You make me smile.
