Honey Camp faves~

So here are a few of my favorite photos from Honey Camp '09. My very favorite one was yesterday's Wordless post. Love, love, love that one! These were taken when we went to pet the llamas. I was hoping there would be a spot or two that would be mamarazzi worthy and the old barn delivered! I'm really pleased with how they turned out. I really wish they were in prettier clothes! But we were there to feed llamas for Heaven's sake!

In typical fashion, Syd was way more cooperative. She's a natural. Or maybe just smart..."if I smile and do what mama wants, this will be over lickety split!" But Kennedy, she's hard. It always feels like her smiles are forced. I really like her pics better when she is just looking serious or belly laughing! Either way, she's my beauty and I love taking her picture! But she has a harder time looking natural and I don't want to force her to pose when she just doesn't want to. Consequently, there are usually more pics of Syd than Kennedy. Who knows? Maybe in a few years, that'll change! But she was a little more accommodating on this day!

Our girls are growing so fast. And days like these are the kind I want to tuck away deep in my heart. Watching them feed the llamas, walk through a field, giggle out of sheer joy...these are the moments memories are made of.
