Bless her heart. She was so nervous to speak in front of the crowd. Our church asks candidates for baptism to share a personal word of testimony about what the Lord has done in their lives and Syd was just too overcome to do it. She had written her's out just a few days {maybe the very next day} following her conversion. They were all her words...none of ours. She actually started to type it on my Mac...note the "speech" at the top. But then she tired of it and needed help making the font bigger. So I did type it out nice and big for her so she'd have an easier time of reading it. I love what she wrote...

I'm glad Jase was able to read it for her. I don't think she could have done it. Not because she was ashamed or afraid to be baptized. It really had nothing to do with that. She was just terrified to speak. And so very emotional.
Here are the pictures and video~

I chose Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee by Charlie Hall because we sang this old hymn during the service Sunday. I've always loved this one and thought it'd be great with her video. I totally forgot to get nice pictures of all of us at church! Can you believe it!?! Our pastor had us come up to the front after the service so others could shake our hands and congratulate Syd and well...I just plumb dumb forgot!

We came home and enjoyed a great lunch with family {Nana and Dandaddy, Aunt Megan, Pops, Aunt KK, Aunt Mattie}. We are grateful for all the Lord has done. For His goodness to our family in calling out two of our children to be saved. We continue to pray for Joel's salvation and trust that He will grow our babies into His likeness. He is great! And greatly to be praised!
