Anyway, a few months ago, we got an email from Show Hope asking if we had a video from the day we met Joel. Well...of course we do! Seems they were looking for footage to use in a Veggie Tales episode that the Chapman's were collaborating on. So I sent them a DVD of ours. I never heard back from them as to whether or not they had decided to use any of it but guess what?
They did!!!
It's a little snipit of Joel and I about 3 minutes in {I think}. Remember when our boy fell straight away asleep on my chest after about an hour after we met? Jase took pictures and video of it...and Show Hope used it in Steven's new video!
I'm so excited. I mean, I know it's just a snipit, but I think it's so sweet. What a great song! And yet another keepsake for our boy! For those of you who are wondering, you can order the Veggie Tales DVD here for your kiddies!
We are also volunteering for Show Hope at SCC's concert in October in Savannah! Holla! It's so fun to be a part of something, you know? And I can't wait to tell you all about a minstry for orphans and families that Jase and I are supporting now. It will be included in my long overdue, "Radical Part 3" post sometime soon. I have to wait on a few particulars to fall into place but we are thrilled to be a small part of it and can't wait to share here soon!

SCC's parents church is near us and that church has a large adoption ministry. We went to their adoption group for a while. Small world!
