Don't touch my pillows.
Evidently, silly rules like these are meant to be broken. Because after a three hour stent at the pool this morning and a twenty minute power nap this afternoon, Joel was in a very foul mood. And after he and his dad sat on our beautifully made bed to read Tara's blog and gaze at his new best buddy, Max in Thailand...either Joel decided or Jase prodded him to touch my pillows in order to cheer him up a bit from his moodiness.
I'm making sweet tea in the kitchen {cuz that's what southern mama's do} and my boy walks in with a most sheepish look.
I look back.
He says out of the corner of his mouth, "I mess up mama's pillows!"
Then he grabs my hand and pulls me toward my bedroom. Like I really need to see this for the hundredth time! lol. I gave him the mean face. You know the one...with my hands on my hips and my brow all furrowed. Then I caved.
He smiled again. Yeah, the sheepish one.
And then this ensued~
*Public service announcement* The sheer number of images here is insane. Sorry bout that. And I will say, it's darn near impossible to get three moving, jumping, laughing kids in focus. Just sayin'. :)

What did we do before these littles came into our lives? What would it be like if they hadn't? I don't even want to think about that. I do know that my house would be cleaner, my pillows would not be messed up and life would be so plumb dumb boring. Our quiver is full and we are blessed, messy pillows and all.
