Our dossier was sent to China on 3.27 and so I was hoping beyond hope that it had been logged in weeks ago, since today marks four weeks since it was shipped. Well, we weren't that fortunate but it's all good! Our LID is 4.13 and I'm just dandy fine with that. Yep, I am. Because that means we're already 11 days into our LOA/LSC wait.
Not that I'm counting or anything silly like that.
Honestly, I'm striving to continue in my non freaking out, zen like state and just go with it. Because like I said a few days ago, my God sees the little prince.
And today, I saw him too.
Yes, I did.
Right there on that ol' internet.
There was a post on RQ recently about Henan kids and how you may or may not be able to sponsor your child if they are in foster care in Henan. For a measly $40 a month, we could potentially help to offset the costs of fostering the little prince.
Amazing. Yes, sign me up, please.
So I sent an email last week. No reply. Turns out it was a bad email address. BUT, I commented on the HKI blog today and voila! Got a response quickly and the ball started rolling and well, then I stumbled upon this...
Can you pick him out? 2nd from the right? OMGoodness, is our sweet boy ever adorable!?! It's hard to see him well since this is a screenshot off of my Mac. lol. It was part of a slideshow from different orphanages/foster homes at Christmas last year and so I wasn't able to save the actual picture. Praise the Lord for screenshot capability! And wowza. He is rockin' that pink coat! In all honesty, I couldn't care less what color he is wearing. The boy is bundled and looks nice and toasty. LOVE that.
I have been so good not to post identifying pictures of him since we don't yet have LOA/LSC. BUT, since this is on a very public website, I figured it should be okay. Right?
Every few weeks or days even, we get a new tidbit of info about our little prince. It sure helps a ton. God is good and we are grateful for this another picture...and that all important LID!

Yippee!!! So excited for you!!! What wonderful news of the LID and what a HUGE blessing that you were able to find his pic/sponsorship!!! How amazing is that!? I love reading your posts! You're hilarious! He sure is rocking that pink coat! He is bundled to the max! Ready for the snow storm! LOL! Great to see him! Can't wait for more news from the Roberts!
