Oh, God.
This world exhausts me. I can't fathom how your heart breaks to see those who proclaim to follow you, make such flippant remarks about your Word and your Bride. I'm so weary.
And so it was good to just walk away from it for a bit.
To go into our bedroom alone for a few minutes of solitude.
It didn't last though.
Because the door soon opened and revealed that I had a tag along.
I was laying on our sheetless bed {because it was laundry day} and in he walked.
How could I resist him?
Because he's so flippin' cute laying there with his brother's lego.
And had I got up and snagged my Canon, it'd have all been over.
So I used my trusty iPhone.
Because this is life in the here and now.
And it just won't last forever.
In the midst of it all, this boy is a sweet reminder to me of the Lord's plan for our lives and for his. He has made a way for Gabe. He has made a way for us. Weeks like this are so good for perspective and renewed joy in the goodness of God.

Kam - simply - what you said...all of it!
hugs - aus and co.
Ohh I love him in his snuggly pjs. He's such a hug-able kid. Sadly I can't get anyone over here to wear them. Mr. T finds them "too hot."
