January. It came and went like a blur. A BLUR I tell you. And sometimes, for me, in January, that's not all bad. The first two months of the year are hard for me to push through sometimes. Money is tight, the weather is cold, spring break seems forever away and bleh, bleh, bleh.
But I have to say, I loved this altogether fast and wintery January.
Because for our neck of the woods, it was a veritable winter wonderland! Twice! Eeeek. We love ourselves a good southern snow! And two in one month? That's cause for a party. A party where I shoot through 8G of memory card in minutes.
Gabe adored his first snow. He couldn't stop eating it. Funny boy. And even though he had ski pants and waterproof mittens and snow boots and any other piece of appropriate attire, he managed to get soaked. Because sweet boy couldn't stop eating snow that would fall past his coat and into his shirt.
Over and over and over again.
The kids all had a complete blast. Even though this first snow was dry and powdery and ski resort like…it was killer fun. We finally pulled out the saucers I had purchased two years ago. Oh yeah, who's making fun of me now! Ba BAM! Jase built another ramp and we pushed those children down that joker like there was no tomorrow.
Fun, fun stuff.
I apologize in advance…8G is no laughing matter.

The Scriptures tell us in Job that God has storehouses of snow…He shared them with us this winter and we are grateful. :)
