I speedy quick ran to get him, his hand covering his face. When he moved it away, his hand was completely red and of course, it freaked him out a little more. Sweet baby. We got it under control with some pressure {ouch!} and an ice pack {double ouch!}. After about 20 minutes, he had calmed down and the bleeding had almost stopped.
I was really surprised that he ate the same dinner we did last night...smoked bbq pork butt. I was sure it would be too painful. We offered him different things before the bbq but he wouldn't hear of it. So he ate just like us, only out of the side of his mouth! These are bad, but I did snap some pictures of him at the table just after dinner. You know, for posterity and all. I love how he still has bbq sauce on his sweet face.

True to form, he's still smiling. Must be because he knows, that even with a busted lip, he's the most handsome boy around! :)

Oh poor Joel, ouch! Must have been some good pork. He soldiered through. If I was Joel, I'd be milking my injury for icecream 24/7.
Little cutie pie! He's such a handsome little guy! Our Jacob fell and broke a (permanent) front tooth a couple of weeks ago! Kids!! :)
