We came home, had lunch {Yes, I fed my children Taco Bell yesterday...I'm a terrible VBS mama}, and after Jase left to go back to church...Joel asked me to come into his bedroom.
"You take my pic-tuh, mama?"
"Sure, buddy. What do you want to do?"
"I pay my toys. You take my pic-tuh."
Good enough. I happen to love pic-tuhs like this...in the moment. Real life. Sure, we all have to pose once in a while and smile for the camera. But I much prefer this stuff. Don't you? I mean, how can you not? The boy shoots his monkey {the one we stuffed at Build A Bear and sent to Thailand a year before we met him...the one he sleeps with and loves...yeah that one} into his Little Tikes basketball goal. If that ain't pic-tuh worthy, I'm not sure what is!

How I am enamoured with this little spitfire. This Thai tornado has and continues to invade our lives with toys and volume and laughter and love. I think it's safe to say that I would take his pic-tuh anytime, anyplace. For now, it's summer, and we're playing.
