Do you want to know more about China adoption?
Specifically, special needs adoption in China?
Are you intimidated about what that may mean?
Or just plain scared?
Well, you should do what I do sometimes and grab a mound of chocolate chip cookie dough and some coffee or hot tea or some other great warm beverage and have yourself a looksy at this fantastic resource for families. If you said "yes" to any of the above questions, you may just find your questions answered and your fears dissipate if you spent some time over at No Hands But Ours.
I have to say, the Lord has used it's founder, Stefanie, in amazing ways in my life. Specifically, it was Stefanie who got me to thinking and then becoming noticeably convicted and a tad obsessed with bringing home a heart baby from China. To most of you, she needs no introduction at all. I blogged about her briefly in this post from last fall. But I didn't mention her name specifically.
I emailed Stefanie while we were waiting for Seth. She was such an encouragement to me. I had no idea I would walk a similar road that she had and even then, so appreciated her advice and kind words. Shortly after Seth's passing, Stefanie emailed to ask me to become a monthly writing contributor to NHBO. I remember emailing Jase about it and being completely taken aback. I have such respect for those writers and it was really humbling to think of myself contributing to this blog.
That was three months ago and so far, they haven't voted me off the island.
Yet.
Lol.
Recently, NHBO underwent a huge overhaul. My goodness. It is simply lovely. Love. Ly. You should stop reading here and head straight over there. I've made it quite easy for you...there are like four links for you to choose from. :)
So go on. Visit the new and oh so pretty, No Hands But Ours.
But be forewarned.
You may laugh till you cry.
Or today specifically, you may cry till ugly stuff runs down your face.
Your faith will be stretched.
Your heart will be burdened.
And hopefully, your resolve to care for the fatherless will be fanned into flame.
Whatever happens during your visit, to God be the glory. Great things He has done.

Even though we're not a China adopt, I checked NHBO when researching special needs. It's a great resource and what a natural fit you are over there.
I just love your heart, Kam!
So glad to have you sharing over at NHBO - and so glad to call you my friend, too :)
