We were anxious.
We were nervous.
We were hopeful and prayerful and we set our eyes on Him.
Because despite our best efforts, we knew we couldn't do this.
$30,000.
300 Red Stones.
But He.
He was faithful.
He was trustworthy.
He grew our faith.
He used His people. He told them that He loved the orphan.
And He led them to give.
To book photography sessions.
To buy our stuff at a consignment sale.
To purchase our airfare.
One stone at a time.
Some gave out of joy.
Others out of grief.
But the work was His.
And it is finished.
To God be the glory, great things He has done.
"Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?"
Jeremiah 32:27

I love the idea with the stones. I saw your comment on Missy's blog and thought you all might be in a similar stage in your process as we are. I look forward to reading more about your process. Angela
Love this. Praise be to God!
Hoping for a God miracle as well!
Oy. I got an error so I'm not sure if you got my first comment. Oy. Oy. The enemy is trying to get me in his feeble little ways.
I had said something about I'm in the middle of trusting the Lord right now in a big 'ole way. Trusting for the finances to come through with the adoption of our darling waiting girl. She's more than worth it. But trusting is so hard sometimes. Some days are harder than others. Like today when our a/stinkin'/c stops working. Oy.
Sigh.
Also want to know about those cute little burlap bags with the stamps?? Cute!!
Praising the Lord with you and praying for you every day!!!
Thanks for your post on NHBO. Very encouraging to me! God bless!
